CARLA BRISTOL is the Collaboration Manager at the St. Pete Youth Farm, a youth-led urban farm that has turned 6 empty lots (0.83 acres) owned by the City of St. Petersburg into a farm. To date, the St. Pete Youth Farm has had 100+ youth in the community hired through the program.

DR. JOSEPH DORSEY is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Director of the Food Sustainability and Security concentration and Director of the Academic Capstone Experience (ACE) in the Patel College of Global Sustainability (PCGS) at the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, and a LEED Green Associate (2014-2016).

ERICA HALL is Executive Director of the Florida Food Policy Council, and Suncoast Florida’s ExCom Vice Chair (current). She is a former Co-Chair and member of the Florida Chapter’s Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Committee.

ERICA HARDISON is a dedicated leader and changemaker in food systems, agriculture, and environmental justice. She is a Florida Food Policy Council board member and a driving force behind One Community Grocery Co-op St. Pete.

LOU MURRAY has been co-chair and Chairman of the Manasota Food Action Council since 2017. He has 30 years of experience developing community healthcare programs including the first Medicaid managed-care program,and over 30 years of developing food insecurity programs in underserved communities.

JOYCE WOODSON has been an “urban farmer” for decades, and since relocating to St Petersburg, she grows most of the vegetables, herbs, and fruit that her household eats. Her many garden beds, containers, and food forest, over 1000 sq. ft. altogether, produce enough to share with neighbors and friends. Joyce has taught organic gardening, mentored new gardeners, and contributed a gardening column for the Weekly Challenger.
